another day, another smush (lie)
this was my first real foray into granular delay, and it’s really fun to play with! you can make some really neat sounds :3 i’m honestly really really happy with how this turned out, definitely want to incorporate it into a release. also, yes, i stole the latter half’s melody from contact by daft punk ;>
in other news, very slight site update where i changed the sidebar text to make the fact that i have an rss feed a little clearer, lol
in OTHER other news, i’ve been thinking a lot about my identity lately… i’ve been a furry for a few years now but it has never felt like a super large part of who i am. but recently, i’ve realized that it kind of is? for one, ever since my friend made me a tail, i wear it every chance i get… and it kind of gives me a similar feeling of euphoria as gender affirmation does, hehe. maybe it’s silly, but acting like a cat and being called one, just having that acknowledged, makes me so strangely happy :3
i really do feel like being a creature is an important part of who i am! so i’m trying out she/it pronouns. i’m thinking it/its a bit less often than she/her, but i want to try it out :3
