lately i’ve been listening to some COOL SHIT that you should CHECK OUT.
doefriends - I WANT TO LOVE AGAIN
this one hits me RIGHT in the heartstrings. honestly, i found it in my youtube recommended, and it hit me so hard i cried. so obviously i had to buy the album after. i guess i just relate a bit to some of the songs, especially waiting. afaict, this is doefriends’s debut release, and it’s really impressive! i’m a huge fan of the vocals and just the general loud and messy feel of the instrumentation. and, of course, the lyrics. my two favourites on this album are definitely harness and waiting. really lovely release all around.
Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer
my partner showed me this album and i am SO glad he did. so so soooo catchy, every song is excellently produced, and again, great lyrics. i’m a big fan especially of ipod touch and delete. the latter especially is just so.. SO!!! so SCRUMPTIOUS. i dont even know. i just love the production on it and the lyrics and everything. it makes me feel like i’m having the experience of being a teenage girl that i never got.
Spott - Happy Heartcore
this one… well. this album is REALLY horny. but it just BANGS SO MUCH (pun intended). super big fan of music that makes my brain explode tbh (femtanyl ily). i do also enjoy some of the songs for their lyrics… but i feel a liiiittle weird listening to them, lol. gotta take my own advice and unlearn shame ^^’ funny enough, i know of this album because i listened to one song from it (Caboost!, which so happens to be my favourite track) years back on spotify. i didn’t even listen to the words at the time, but once i realized what it was actually about i felt too ashamed to listen to the rest xP but i spontaneously remembered that song recently, and lo and behold, i enjoy the whole album too :3
